What is the

blue peel radiance?

The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is a quick superficial salicylic acid-based facial chemical peel that exfoliates dead skin cells and helps improve overall complexion and provides firmer, smoother, brighter-looking skin after just one use.

Ingredients: 

20% Salicylic Acid

2% Glycolic Acid

2% Lactic Acid

 

A series of 3 to 6 peels (every 2-4 weeks) provides best overall results.

How long do skin peels take to carry out?

The procedure itself takes less around 30 minutes, but this is after a thorough consultation.

Do skin peels hurt?

Depending on the depth of the peel, it can range from pain free, tingly, or needing anaesthetic. 

The Blue Radiance peel is a superficial peel, you may feel some tingling, but the procedure is not considered to be uncomfortable or painful.

Are skin peels safe?

We only use the highest medical quality skin peels that are safe when used by a medical practitioner

Our superficial peels are considered to be safe for most skins types.

You should be careful if you suffer from coldsores as they can be re-activated with peels near to the lips.

You should not have a chemical peel is you have use accutance (to treat acne) in the past 6 months, have an allergy to salicylates, or if you are pregnant.

Do cheek fillers get rid of tear troughs?

Sometimes a lack of volume in the mid-cheek can exacerbate the hollowing under the eyes.

Can I have skins peels whilst pregnant?

Unfortunately, you can't have a skin peels whilst pregnant or breast feeding.
