What is Lanluma?

Lanluma is a new bio-stimulating filler that has been specifically formulated to reshape and contour large areas of the body.

Made from Poly-l-lactic Acid (PLLA) which has been used in medical products for 30 years, Lanluma has a strong safety record.

Lanluma works by causing bio-stimulation of fibroblast to produce collagen, which is what helps to restore the skin’s inner structure and shape.

The PLLA particles are then absorbed over time by the body, leaving behind the  collagen for a natural appearance.

Lanluma can be used to treat skin laxity and improve the quality of skin texture on the upper arms, thighs, hands, décolletage.

When used on the buttocks, Lanluma can used to add volume and treat hips dips

Where can Lanluma be used?

The treatment was almost completely painless, just one or two little pinches, but nothing more than that.

I started noticing the results about 6 weeks after my first treatment,

and i'm now in love with my new bum after my third and final treatment.

Treating Cellulite

The collagen structures in Women and Men are different. The column-like structure of collagen in women, means that women are likely to experience some form of cellulite.

Lanluma can be administered with a special technique to helps to break down those column structures of collagen that cause cellulite in women.

Lanluma works beneath the skin by stimulating the production

of type 1 collagen fibres which are laid in a criss-cross pattern to improve

the skins texture and appearance.

FAQs

How long does Lanluma take to carry out?
The procedure itself takes less around 60 minutes, but this is after a thorough consultation.

How long do Lanluma results last?
The reuslts from your Lanluma treatment will last more than 2 years depending on your body, and other external factors.
We have found that people who smoke and use sun beds tend to metabolise filler and break down collagen quicker than others.

Does Lanluma hurt?
We do everything we can to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. We mix Lanluma with a numbing agent to make the injections more tolerable.
The treatment is performed with a cannula (which is a blunt metal device that pushes through the skin instead of cutting, like needles do).

Can men have Lanluma treatments?
Absolutely! Men can have whatever aesthetic treatments they want.
Cheek fillers and Jawline fillers are becoming increasingly more common amongst men who want to achieve a chiselled masculine look.
But, it's important you choose the right practitioner who understands how to treat a male face and can perform 'masculinisation' treatments, otherwise you could end up looking feminine.

Is Lanluma safe?
We only use the highest quality products from the most reputable brands.
Lanluma is made up of PLLA (a substance found used in the medical field for the past 30 years in absorbable sutures) and is 100% biodegradable.
Lanluma is a safer alternative to the surgical options for enhancing the buttocks.

Can I have Lanluma whilst pregnant?
Unfortunately, you can't have any types of dermal filler or Botox whilst pregnant or breast feeding. There aren't any studies showing it's harmful, but who would willingly sign up to one of them anyway? Enjoy your time off with your new family addition and we'll be happy to see you back in clinic later on.

Who can perform Lanluma?
Although it is not against the law in England for anyone to buy and inject filler, we strongly believe that aesthetic procedures should only be carried out by a registered medical professional. This is because 1 day courses simply are not enough to learn the anatomy, safe and sterile techniques, and medical knowledge required to recognise complications early and treat them.

All our treatments are carried out by fully qualified, registered and insured Doctors.
