Ellansé
collagen stimulator

Portrait of Smiling Woman

What happens
as we age?

From the age of 25, the face loses around 1% of its volume every year, due to loss of deep fat pads, bone structure and collagen.

To address this, our Doctors have spent a lot of time understanding the complex anatomy of the face and how this links to the ageing processes which involves bones, muscles, fat pads and the skin.

Ellansé is a dual action dermal filler that does so much more than just correcting lines and wrinkles.

Ellansé contains Polycaprolactone (PCL) spheres that stimulate the natural production of type I collagen, to give you natural results that last up to 2 years.

Ellansé can be used anywhere on the face to treat volume loss, skin laxity, lines and wrinkles.

What is Ellansé?

"I am so impressed with the results of my Ellanse treatment.

It's completely different to the fillers I've had in the past.

After a few months, the results started to get better and better, which is what Dr Jamie said would happen.

The biggest difference I've noticed, is in the quality of my skin"

What is the difference between Ellansé
'S' and 'M'?

Ellansé S and M are both made up of the same ingredients and the same amount of product is injected. The difference is the length of time the results are expected to last.

Ellansé S  lasts up to 18 months.

Ellansé M last up to 24 months

FAQs

How long does Ellansé take to carry out?
The procedure itself takes less around 60 minutes, but this is after a thorough consultation.

How long do Ellansé results last?
18-24 months depending on your body, and other external factors.
We have found that people who smoke and use sun beds tend to metabolise filler and break down collagen quicker than others.

Does Ellansé hurt?
We do everything we can to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. We mix Ellansé with a numbing agent to make the injections more tolerable.
We use a combination of needles and cannulas (which are a blunt metal device that pushes its way through your lips instead of cutting, like needles do).

We also apply numbing cream to the areas we are going to inject.

Can men have Ellansé treatments?
Absolutely! Men can have whatever aesthetic treatments they want.
Cheek fillers and Jawline fillers are becoming increasingly more common amongst men who want to achieve a chiselled masculine look.
But, it's important you choose the right practitioner who understands how to treat a male face and can perform 'masculinisation' treatments, otherwise you could end up looking feminine.

Is Ellansé safe?
We only use the highest quality products from the most reputable brands.
Ellansé contains a CMC gel and polycaprolactone microspheres, which are a 100% biodegradable aliphatic (open chain) polyesters designed for use in medicine and makes it perfect for treating lines and wrinkles.
Ellansé is different to traditional Hyaluronic Acid fillers (which can be dissolved), as there is no way of dissolving the PCL particles once injected into the skin. It is important to visit an experienced medical professional who has been trained to use Ellanse.

Can I have Ellansé whilst pregnant?
Unfortunately, you can't have any types of dermal filler or Botox whilst pregnant or breast feeding. There aren't any studies showing it's harmful, but who would willingly sign up to one of them anyway? Enjoy your time off with your new family addition and we'll be happy to see you back in clinic later on.

Who can perform Ellansé?
Although it is not against the law in England for anyone to buy and inject filler, we strongly believe that aesthetic procedures should only be carried out by a registered medical professional. This is because 1 day courses simply are not enough to learn the anatomy, safe and sterile techniques, and medical knowledge required to recognise complications early and treat them.

All our treatments are carried out by fully qualified, registered and insured Doctors.
